ClearTone / Zoom Noise Cancelling
ClearTone removes background noise from your microphone and from everyone else in your Zoom meetings and Zoom Phone calls. It also writes your meeting notes without a bot joining, and it works the same way in every other app you use.
From £11.49 a month after a 3-day free trial. Windows, Mac and Linux. Works with Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet and any dialler or softphone.

Pick a noise and switch ClearTone on and off. This is what the people on your calls stop hearing.
ClearTone is on. The keyboard behind you is gone, and only your voice goes down the line.
Zoom picks up ClearTone automatically when it is set to the computer's default microphone and speaker, which is Zoom's usual setting.
Keyboards, fans, traffic, children, pets and nearby conversations are removed before Zoom hears them.
The noise behind everyone else on the call is removed from what you hear, and quiet voices are lifted.
A live transcript with exact You and Them labels, then highlights, action items and a follow-up email, with no bot joining.
Talk ratio, long monologues and dead air on your screen during the call. Only you can see it.
ClearTone warns you when your microphone is muted or flat before you talk to silence.
Noise removal, transcription and summaries all run on your own computer.
Download ClearTone for Windows, Mac or Linux and do the one-minute mic check. It becomes your computer's microphone and speaker while it runs.
In Zoom, open Settings, then Audio. If Microphone and Speaker say Same as System, you're done. If a particular headset is chosen, pick ClearTone instead, once.
Under Audio Profile, set Zoom's background noise suppression to Low or Auto so Zoom and ClearTone don't both process the same sound.

A delivery at the door, a siren outside, a colleague laughing across the room. With ClearTone running, the people in your Zoom call hear none of it, and you hear them clearly too.
Zoom has its own background noise suppression with Auto, Low, Medium and High settings. It is designed for Zoom meetings and works on your microphone inside the Zoom app. It is a good starting point for occasional meetings in a quiet room.
ClearTone cleans the audio coming in from everyone else on the call as well as your own, so a colleague dialling in from a train or a client in a busy office sounds clear to you. It adds Only My Voice, which learns your voice and turns down people talking near you. And because it works at the level of your computer's audio, the same clean sound follows you into Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, Slack, your softphone and your sales dialler, with one setting instead of one per app.
Many Zoom note takers depend on cloud recording or a bot joining the meeting. ClearTone transcribes on your own computer, labels every line You or Them, and writes highlights, action items and a follow-up email when the meeting ends. Nothing is uploaded and nobody sees a recorder join.
ClearTone works with Zoom Phone calls in the Zoom desktop app exactly as it does with meetings. In webinars, it cleans your microphone as a panellist and the audio you hear as an attendee.
Try It: ClearTone Camera
Pick a background, then switch between meeting apps. The background stays exactly the same, because ClearTone Camera puts it there before any app sees your picture.
Executive OfficeYou
Same background in Zoom. Nothing to set up inside the app.
Your own picture stays in your browser and is never uploaded. ClearTone Camera runs on Windows 10 and 11.
ClearTone sits between your headset and the computer, so it works with any calling app on Windows or Mac, and in Chrome with ClearTone for Chrome. There is nothing to install inside your dialler and no integration to wait for.

Apps set to the computer's default microphone and speaker (the usual setting) use ClearTone automatically. If an app has a particular headset chosen, pick ClearTone in its audio settings once. Product names are trademarks of their owners and are listed to show compatibility.

Install ClearTone and do the one-minute mic check. Zoom uses ClearTone automatically when its microphone is set to Same as System; otherwise choose ClearTone in Zoom's audio settings once. Then set Zoom's own noise suppression to Low or Auto.
Yes. ClearTone cleans the incoming Zoom audio before it plays in your headset, so the noise behind other participants is removed for you.
Yes. It works with the Zoom desktop app on Windows 10 and 11, macOS 11 or later and 64-bit Linux, and with Zoom in the browser through ClearTone for Chrome.
No. ClearTone listens on your own computer, so no extra participant ever joins your Zoom meeting.
Set it to Low or Auto. That avoids the same sound being processed twice, which can make voices sound thin.
